PICK MUSIC?!

I've finally done it. I ran out of space on my iPod. I knew it was bound to happen soon since I was nearing the max for the past couple of months. Now I'm sad and shit out of luck. I knew as soon as I got my iPod (it was a gift), that it was not nearly enough space for me. I have had it for 2 years now, I think, it's a 30GB.... Small and still cute. I don't know what I would do without it. I love music.

I think the only thing I can do now is either buy a new iPod with more space or delete songs. Thing is I like having variety, and can't choose what songs to let go. I have already deleted duplicates, crappy quality songs.. etc. :( what else??!

Today I was looking online and they are going for $300+ on Ebay for a 160GB.. or more at an Apple store or Best Buy.

Question(s): Anyone know a way where I can choose what songs I put on my iPod?
like, Is there a way to still have all of my music on iTunes.. then just have a selected amount sync'd on my iPod?

OR does anyone know where I can get a discount?

When my ipod is full or when I use my nano an itunes prompt will tell me that my library is too large and it'll create a playlist for that particular ipod and just sync that list. so just pick the songs you want to go on your ipod and put them on that playlist.

I don't know you, but I came upon this post somehow, but you can manually manage your songs, so uncheck the sync box and do it that way. I have my whole library on itunes and when i plug in my ipod i drag which ones i want onto my ipod. I hope that helps!

make playlists and like Melanie said above, uncheck sync and only sync the playlists that you want.
